ELD mandate rules by the U.S. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and it requires drivers to record their working hours via electronic logging device (ELD). ELDsare mendatory unless they have already used Automatic On-Board Recoding Device s (AOBRDs) that are installed before Dec. 18, 2017.
