With oil and fuel prices fluctuating, more and more companies operating fleets are thinking about optimizing and reducing fuel costs. In ATrack, fuel monitoring is achieved in 3 methods – through fuel gauge, CANBus data and fuel level sensor.  Depending on the necessity, one can choose from the three.  Fuel gauge is the least expensive solution but the accuracy is relatively lower comparing to the other two.  CANBus solution is in-between the two, not the cheapest nor the most expensive one, but its accuracy is sometimes compromised. Fuel level sensor solution may be higher in cost and takes longer to install, but it provides the most accurate data to the users who require precise information.
